    Hinges, also known as hinges, are mechanical devices used to connect two solids and allow relative rotation between them. The hinge can be made of movable components or of a foldable material. Welding hinges are widely used as hardware components in life. This article mainly introduces the application of welding hinges.

    This article contains the following:

    1. What is weld-on hinge?

    2. Common classification of weld-on hinges

    3. Applications of weld-on hinges

    What is weld-on hinge?

    Weld-on hinge is commonly used in applications that require welding on a hinge to another metal surface. There are many shapes and types of weld-on hinges, including butt hinge welding, bullet hinge welding, belt hinge welding or barrel hinge welding.

    Common classification of weld-on hinges

    1. Divided into detachable type and fixed type according to the type of base;

    2. According to the type of the arm body, it is divided into two types: slide-in and cassette;

    3. According to the cover position of the door panel, it is divided into a full cover (straight bend, straight arm), general cover 18%, a half cover (middle bend, curved arm) cover 9%, and the built-in (large bend, large curve) door panels are all hidden inside;

    4. According to the style of the hinge development stage, it is divided into: one-stage hinge, two-stage hinge, hydraulic buffer hinge, touch self-opening hinge, etc .;

    5. According to the door opening angle of the hinge: 95-110 degrees are commonly used, and special ones are 25 degrees, 30 degrees, 45 degrees, 135 degrees, 165 degrees, 180 degrees, etc .;

    6.According to the type of hinge, it is divided into: ordinary one or two-section force hinge, short arm hinge, 26 cup miniature hinge, marble hinge, aluminum frame door hinge, special angle hinge, glass hinge, rebound hinge, American hinge, damping hinge , Thick door hinges and more.

    Applications of weld-on hinges

    1.Spring hinge

    It is mainly used for cabinet doors and wardrobe doors. It generally requires a plate thickness of 18-20mm. From the material, it can be divided into: galvanized iron, zinc alloy. In terms of performance, it can be divided into two types: hole punching and no hole punching. No hole is what we call a bridge hinge. The bridge hinge looks like a bridge, so it is commonly called a bridge hinge. It is characterized by no need to drill holes in the door panel, and is not limited by style. Specifications are: small, medium, large. Holes need to be punched, such as spring hinges commonly used on cabinet doors. Its characteristics: the door panel must be punched, the style of the door is limited by the hinge, and the door will not be blown away by the wind when it is closed. There is no need to install various touch spiders. Specifications are: & 26, & 35. There are detachable directional hinges and non-detachable non-directional hinges. For example, the 303 series of Longsheng hinges are detachable directional hinges, while the 204 series are non-detachable spring hinges. They can be divided in shape: full cover (or straight arm, straight bend) half cover (or curved arm, middle (Bend) The inside (or large bend, large bend) hinge is equipped with adjustment screws, which can adjust the height and thickness of the plate up and down, left and right. The distance between the two screw fixing holes on the hole side is generally 32mm, and the distance between the diameter side and the plate is 4mm (Drawing). In addition, the spring hinge also has various special specifications, such as: a 45-degree angle hinge on the inside, a 135-degree angle hinge on the outside, and a 175-degree angle hinge.

    About the difference of the right angle (straight arm), half bend (half curvature), and big bend (large curvature):

    Right-angled hinges allow the door to completely cover the side panels;

    The half-bent hinge allows the door panel to cover part of the side panels;

    The large curved hinge can make the door panel and the side panel parallel;

    2.Mechanical and electrical cabinet hinge

    It includes nylon hinges with high abrasion resistance; corrosion-resistant, higher-strength zinc alloy hinges, hinges; corrosion-resistant, oxidation-resistant, high-strength stainless steel hinges, which are often used in mechanical and electrical cabinet doors, machinery equipment operation boxes, and other products

    3.Heavy hinge

    Due to the particularity of the installation position, the requirements for the hinge are also very large. Generally the size is above 150MM, the bearing capacity is large, and the external structure conforms to the special structure of the cabinet door. It is often used for large doors such as refrigerators and freezers, mostly zinc.
